Our Programs

All young men are not afforded the same opportunity to succeed. Dapper expands the window of opportunity for high-school-aged young men by developing them in the areas of discipline, etiquette, and leadership. With Dapper, mentees can experience a brotherhood. They will meet weekly with their mentor group led by established community leaders and businessmen. 

Dapper mentees will be regularly exposed to life outside of their current parameters. This program will engage, support, and uplift the leaders of a generation.

Poised is a mentorship program dedicated to reaching teen girls. The program is focused on building teen girls into confident, driven women. With the dedication of our volunteers, staff members, and partners, we believe that we can continue making a lasting impact for generations to come.

Autism with Color is dedicated to empowering and advocating for children of color with autism. We recognize the unique challenges faced by autistic children of color, who often experience disparities in access to services, understanding, and acceptance. We are dedicated to ensuring equal opportunities for autistic children to help them reach their full potential.

Driven by Dr. Gabriel Powell’s vision to make a lasting impact on the local community, Made for Bigger, Inc. was established in 2017. Our major outreach initiatives include: 

Bookbag Bash | Each year, we fill hundreds of bookbags with essential school supplies and distribute them to students from low-income families. 

Proud Eats Food Pantry | In partnership with a local food bank, each month, we operate a full food distribution center to provide essential groceries and fresh produce to those in need. 

Toys for Joy | Each year, we spread joy and brighten the holiday season by providing toys to children in our local community. The goal is to alleviate financial strain during the holidays.

Through our counseling sector, we are committed to promoting mental health and well-being by providing accessible and compassionate counseling services. Our mission is to support individuals and families on their journey toward healing, resilience, and personal growth.
